Welcome to *Crikey Math*!

My name is Gary Ernest Davis and on this site I play around with some fun mathematics topics as I find something that takes my interest.

Quite often I get an impetus from a mathematical question of my Aussie mate James Tanton - @jamestanton on Twitter - of G'Day Math and the Global Math Project (among numerous other mathematical activities of James'!)

I got a lot of interesting ideas from my friend Alexander Bogomolny both on Twitter (@CutTheKnotMath) and from his excellent website Cut The Knot

Sadly, Alexander passed away July 8, 2018. RIP dear friend.
